“Dear Kellie,
It must be about 3 years almost, since I bought a small mural composition from you. It is hanging in my corridor, next to the entrance of the room. We all love it; it became part of the family house. Since than you have been sending me lots of invitation and I can see you are working very hard and you are developing in an amazing way. Unfortunately I didn’t have the chance to come to any of your exhibitions, hopefully soon…
I just wanted to express my appreciation.
Kind regards
Sabi”
“What is it that brings out the goose bumps? After years of viewing art in all its forms, sometimes hundreds of lots in a day when I was covering the main auction rooms, I still am not sure. As soon as I rounded the door to The Biscuit Studio I was confronted with a textural, geometric canvas I knew I was on the same wavelength as the artist, sculptor, and potter.
My wife and I were buying work for our seaside gallery on the Isle of Wight, but this was different, this was for us. We’ve collected for years from early English watercolours through to St.Ives School and now onto contemporary and we are as excited by Kellie’s work, we bought two pieces, as this is the best work we’ve seen in a long time.”

I have tremendous support over the years from arts organisations as well as individuals. I would like to thank the following organisations for funding and business support:
Arts and Business (A&B) - Particularly Richard Pearson for his mentoring provided by A&B
Prince’s Trust - Particularly, Michael Hodge, Victoria Minos and Rachael Crossey.
I would also like to thank all of my collectors and customers who have supported and encouraged me over the years to continue to create my work.
Last but not least I would like to acknowledge all my friends, past and present as well as my family who have brought me to this stage. With a special thank you to my sister Joanne Attrill and my partner Kim Jones.

“Elegant ceramic vessels and wall pieces with textures and lines that make you want to reach out and touch them. Colours are muted- restful cream, white, sand, a touch of grey and black- energised by a vibrant blue with the sharp clarity of sea in sunshine.”
One cannot help but be uplifted by Kellie Miller’s imaginative original ceramics.

“Fireplace Surround Commission.
Our new-build apartment had a boring ‘hole-in-thewall’ log-effect fire on an otherwise blank wall. As it could not be removed we decided to make a feature of it with a fireplace surround.
We knew of, and had bought, some of Kellie’s work and thought she would be able to make something unusual and exciting for us. Kellie is an up-and- coming artist with many awards. We very much wanted an original piece of work from her. We have commissioned work from several other artists in the past.
We are very pleased with the final piece. The design is highly original, meticulously made and makes a stunning focal point.
Malcolm and Susan”
