I was so excited to collaborate with Factory and Kojimachi Cafe to exhibit my Couture Cups and design a menu for the three week exhibition. It has always been one of my dreams to create food as well as art so I jumped at the opportunity to design a menu when the idea was suggested.   I hope to work on many more food and art projects in the future.

I exhibited a selection of my cups as seen at the 8th International Ceramic Festival in Mino Museum 2008 and  presented them in two venues, Factory and Kojimachi Cafe.

Opening Party at Factory-Photo by Mayumi Saigan

Factory hosted a fabulous night for me in their amazing cafe.  Bite size food was served  throughout followed by my rich Chocolate Chilli Cheesecake. The party was well attended and attracted media attention from The Daily Yomiuri. You can read the article here.

I was asked to produce a wall installation as a back drop for my work.  I created this work while I was in Japan, made from cork, paint and wood.
