I was honored that two pieces of my work were selected  for the Discerning Eye Exhibition held at the Mall Galleries in London in November 2009.The Discerning Eye exhibition, sponsored by ING bank. has been established since 1990.  The exhibition is held every year and comprises of publicly submitted works and invited works, curated by six prominent figures from different areas of the art world; two critics, two artists and two collectors.  This year the critics were Julius Bryant and Jackie Wullschlager, the artists were Gus Cummins RA and Lincoln Seligman and the collectors were Laurence Llewelyn Bowen and Peter Bowles.

Both my two pieces, entitled ‘After the Toil’ and ‘Old Friends’, were from my mixed media collection of works and were selected by the collector Peter Bowles.  I  was delighted that my works were successful as I had only submitted two artworks and it was my first application to this exhibition.

The Exhibition runs from 12-22 November and works are available for sale on the Discerning website until the end of January 2010 click here to view my works.
