Kellie Schools

Kellie's most recent collaboration has been with Creative Catalysts Initiative (CCI), organised by The Craft Council, Creative Partnerships and Creativity Culture and Education. CCI seeks to encourage partnership between professional creative practitioners (both arts and crafts) and schools. Practitioners are paired up with schools and collaborate to deliver a project aimed at encouraging creativity in school children. The practitioners were drawn for all areas of the arts and crafts. She worked with a reception group from a school in Birmingham.

The experience has led her to be interested in the creative development in children's early years. She is particularly inspired by the Reggio Emilia methodology and believes that this approach can be translated to various age groups to unlock creativity.

She would like to continue to work with educational establishments and individuals to encourage, explore and nurture people, children and organisations so that they have the opportunity to fulfil their potentials.

Please contact Kellie if you are interested in working with her to unlock creativity. She would be happy to discuss projects and ideas with you.
